halloween reality

The scary truth about Halloween.

When you’re a child Halloween is all about dressing up as something fun and going to get buckets and buckets of candy, it’s about being the princess you want to be when you’re older or the firefighter you want to be just like. These kids are using their imaginations to come up with costumes and just being someone other than themselves for a night.

As Teenagers Halloween is about the parties. It’s a time were you get to dress up as anything and no one can really judge you. As some girls say “It’s the one time you get to dress up like a total slut and no one can say anything because it’s a costume.”

Hold it right there.

That is so not true because people still judge you. You are still CHOOSING to dress like that. I think the Halloween costumes that reveal more than a bikini are unacceptable and the ones that are scandalous reveal what you are trying to be. I’m not trying to say that wearing inappropriate costumes are the worst thing on earth because most of the time they are harmless but just careful because no matter what day of the year it is people are going to judge you. Look at your costume and ask would I want my grandma to see me in this?

That is a good question to ask because if the answer is no then I guarantee half the adults don’t want to see it either, no should you want to show everyone.

Have fun at Halloween but just remember to be smart, be safe, and display yourself the way you want to be treated.

Best friend tips

What makes someone a best friend? Is it the companionship they bring you when you’re feeling down? Or is it simply the presence of having someone you can relate to? Is it the fact that you can trust them? Or the trust you have that makes them the best?

A good friend knows all your secrets but a best friend has lived them with you.

I like that saying because it really can mean a lot and it is very true. I believe that a good friend is there for you if you fall on your face but a best friend will watch you fall, laugh in your face and then help you up. They will say “I told you so” when you are wrong they will say “you’re going to regret it” when your new boy isn’t right for you. They won’t be afraid to fight with you and say mean things about you when you’ve upset them or they’ve upset you because at the end of the day you both mean a lot to one another. A best friend will tell you anything and everything even if you don’t want to hear it. They will always look after you because you mean that much to one another.

One of my best friends and I got in a huge fight… it was truly a pathetic fight and we both know it. It started out with a rumor that was told and then it escalated into name calling and then more name calling and hurtful statements. Not to mention glares at each other. This fight lasted 2 days because Friday night we both realized how pathetic we were being. Moral of the story we got over it because we both love each other. We are like sisters and no fight is going to ruin that.

If you and your best friend are in a fight think about the following:

1.)    Is it worth the fight?

2.)    Take a step back, don’t say anything to anyone.

3.)    Think about what the fight is REALLY over.

4.)    Think again… is this fight WORTH losing my friend?

5.)    List everything you did wrong. Be honest. Usually both parties are at fault.

6.)    Apologize for everything you did wrong.

7.)    If you make up don’t pin the fight on other problems or concerns in the future.

8.)    Learn from the mistakes you both made.

9.)    Forgive and forget. But talk about what bothered you.

10.) Have a better friendship then before.

These steps are not that hard to follow. If you do I promise it will make everything so much better. Plus your friendship could end up even better than before and if you guys really talk about what bothered you it gives you a chance to learn what you did to hurt them.

Best friends aren’t just anyone they are the peers your age that mean the most to you, that you would do anything for. A person you are able to learn from and teach.

no.. just no.

I think it is highly inappropriate to wear pajamas into businesses. A.) it is disrespectful to the business. Why should they serve you if you don’t have the decency to put on actual clothes? Or would you have any respect for a teacher that wore pajamas and was trying to teach you? I don’t think so. B.) you look dumb. It makes you look like you don’t care about anything and that you think looking decent just doesn’t matter. Looking decent does matter though, you don’t know what will happen that day and looking respectable could make a huge difference.

The only exception should be if it is pajama day at school but you should not go anywhere else until you put on real clothing.

It is one of my biggest pet peeves! I really just cannot stand it when people wear pajamas to any public place. I just want to go up to them and punch them.

Moral of the story

DO NOT WEAR PAJAMAS TO A BUSINESS THEY ARE MEANT FOR SLEEPING IN NOT GOING PLACES!!!!!!!!

My sunday nights are dedicated to ABC

ABC has got me hooked.

I dedicate my 3 hours on Sundays to Once Upon A Time, Revenge, 666 Park avenue.
Heres are review of each show,

Once Upon A time:
It's a great story, with romance and mystery, keeps me thinking but I am addicted. I love this show because it goes back and forth between the Storybrook life and the actual fairytale. Regina the "evil Queen" had cast a spell on all of the fairytale characters combing each story together, well in this season 2 the curse is broke but Snow White and her daughter are trapped in the fairytale land while prince charming (Snow's husband) and everyone else is stuck in Storybrook. What will happen next? You will have to watch and see for yourself. But far warning it is extremely addictive. I rate this show a 10 out of 10 because it is dramatic it has romance it's got the perfect amount of mystery. It will keep you wondering and then shock when you thought you knew what was coming and you were wrong. If you aren't watching this show you are missing out.

Revenge:
This is my all-time favorite. It has so much murder mystery and the story gets so much deeper each episode. I have watched this show from the start and each episode surprises me. It’s about a girl (Amanda Clarke) whose father was murdered by the Graysons, When Amanda went to Juvie she took on the identity of Emily Throne and Emily took Amanda’s identity. Emily (Amanda) is seeking revenge on everyone that had to deal with her father’s death. I don’t want give too much away so that is all I am going to say. I give this so a ten billion out of 10 because it so juicy and great! I very addicted to Revenge.

666 park avenue
This is a new episode on ABC. It started just 3 weeks ago and is really good. I am pretty much addicted all ready. I don’t really know that much about it to give a summary but it has its suspense and drama. I can’t wait to see where this show goes. I also am excited to see what happens in the story. So far so good! I’d say 9 out 10 but again it is only the third week

If you aren’t doing anything on your Sunday nights dedicate them to ABC because these shows are the best.
